Noticed a fork seal weeping, ordered a new pair on 18th July only to be told they were out of stock until 1st week of August. No problem not going away until 25th of August plenty of time to do a seal and oil change.
Phoned the dealer on 10th August to be told that they would be in stock in Germany on the 15th and the dealer would have them in stock by the 19th.
Phoned up today only to be told that the parts were still on back order and would not be in stock until the 4th September, what a shit back up!!!! BMW can sell you a new bike but cannot offer a decent back up service for a simple spare part. When I had a new engine fitted because the paint flaked off it was quicker!!!
Wonder if they are having a problem with leaking fork seals !!!
