I'm after a front mudguard for my 1150 gs after doing the 17" wheel conversion on it.
I know they are as rare as hens teeth on here but if i've remembered correctly weren't they available from a German bike parts company in Europe ?

I just can't remember the name, any ideas ??

No longer supplied by anyone AFAIK, but it used to be Hornig that did them.

Cheers Paul. Will have to try and adapt something

I’ve seen someone use a Rockster front mudguard with some p-clips and (I think) some tubing with longer bolts for the fork bridge mounts. I might be mis-remembering some of the details, but it’s where I’d start if I didn’t already have one of the ‘unicorn’ versions

I used an F800R mudguard on my r1200gsa tc when I ran it on 17" rims, fixed it on using large rubber line P clips ..... might still have it somewhere , alternatively have you looked at the R1150 Rockster front mudguard that might be close

Cheers Neil if you find it let me know please.

Just a note that the Rockster front mudguard is (for all practical purposes) the same as the R1100S mudguard (might help when sourcing - there were a LOT more R1100Ss produced than Rocksters!)

Found the mudguard and will post some pics and dimensione to see if you think it might fit

This worked on my 2011 r1200gsa tc using the p clips

If it fits £20 plus postage , that includes the stainless P clips

How did you get on with the front mudguard? I’m looking for options for mine?
