Is that what he's doing these days? Last thing I heard he was running a hotel as well......the Slig maybe? I don't know if he's playing much these days but Sandy's an accomplished (to say the least) accordion player and drummer.

He released this when I knew him quite well....

...played drums for an Edinburgh based jazz band called Jobsworth who I used to roadie for in the early 70's

.....and was a founder member of the Wallochmor Ceilidh Band who played at the reception for my first wedding back in '78.

Unfortunately I'm away somewhere else on the bike that weekend. Maybe another time.

Have fun anyway :beerjug:

After sending PM's to folks still thinking it was on the Saturday, I've now realised my mistake. I'm still coming up but won't get away from work until 3 ish. Anyone else travellng up from Fife/Tayside/Lothians? I reckon it's a 4 hour plus journey for me.

Not Sure Yet???

Hi Oonyack,
Don't know if we'll make it yet :( - work comittments mean we can't leave 'till 17:30 on the Friday, so we didn't fancy putting the tent up at 22:00 or so (and wasting good drinking time), so went for the B & B option - old age comes into this as well  .
Anyway 'phoned the Stein Inn at 11:30 - yes, only 25 minutes after you posted the final date - and was told it's fully booked
So we'll decide nearer the time - we really need to be up earlier to enjoy the ceilidh festivities :D , but can't manage that :( .

Cheers....................Grizzly

Friday :(

Could have made the Saturday but we'll struggle to get there on Friday.

Hope it all goes well and you raise some funds :thumb

Sorry mate, can't make it that weekend :( :( , B&B is fully booked :bounce1 :bounce1. Suppose you can't have it both ways, eh!

Hope you all have a brill weekend.

Martin :beerjug:

Your letter to Mrs Swollocks did the trick. Got permission for the 5th..... typical. Dont think the 12this a goer..... will keep trying, but might just go for a wee run around the 5th anyway.
Next time mate!

There's Something Strange About This Gathering....

"I'm looking for a young girl who's went missing, possibly along with a Publican from the mainland and a Tosser from Fife. Both were on large motor cycles"

Look after the Coo's for me Johnny!

Hi Johnny,
Well - I am devastated :( as the weekend of both the 4th/5th/6th AND the 11th/12th/13th are out for me -- one because I am in Somerset and then up to this photo shoot in Leicester (if we can get the boy looked after on the 4th) and then we go on our hols on the 11th -- but down south now (testing out the ole camper nearer to home incase she dies enroute!!).

PLEASE :bow post some lovely coo piccies on here for me and I will be a happier person for missing your doo. :clap Have a good time and see you, briefly, in September.
