passenger backrest - sargent

hi,
anyone got one of these passenger backrests ? - if so what are your thoughts.
i might get one as the wife only comes with very occasionally and i am not keen on any type of top box.

The mrs said it looks a lot more comfy than a top box with a piece a rubber stuck to it !
It will only get used about 5 times a year

Say to wife she can have all space in topbox, and she will like more, and you win topbox.

Its funny but i have done 4 europe trips on my other bikes and always taken the top boxes off - prefer to use tail packs as the weight / centre of gravity is lower (little legs).
Thats why i quite like the idea as well.

Get a top box without a back rest, they stick in the pillion’s back and are a pain

From my experience my wife doesn’t lean on the top box but psychologically the fact that it’s there means she knows she can’t fall off the back

She holds the grab handles on the GS and is all day comfy and relaxed
