]A few weeks ago a member of this parish asked for recommendations for password management software. I knew I had kept an article about this from Which Magazine. I couldn't find it at the time. But Mr CV19 has changed all that I have now had the time to find said article. I scanned the article into my computer but was unable to upload it as the file was too big (PDF) I also tried it as a word doc but again too big. So I retrieved the original article that I had binned after scanning and took photos of it to upload on this thread. As you can see they are three lovely photos with authentic crinkles. If anyone out there would like a pristine scanned copy just pm me with your email address and I will send you a nice clear scan of the report. I did my best but my IT skills (lack of) are easily overwhelmed when it comes to uploading here. Still it's the thought that counts innit ;)

I've been using 1Password (both personal and for teams at work) for years and it has been the 20 quid (or whatever it was) best spent in on software in the last few years.

They, sadly, moved to a bloody subscription system, but there is still a way to buy the application separately and get on with it.
The subscription includes extra services and syncing tools though – might be useful for new users or slightly less experienced ones.

It is also an interesting, and good story, of a startup that made actually with:

1. no VC capital
2. actually creating a meaningful product

:D

I've been using LastPass for many years. I paid to begin with (when it was necessary to get it syncing on mobile apps) but once they made all the features I use free, I switched to the free version. It works very well for me. I recommend switching on 2 factor authentication with it.

Yeah me too, I find it really useful and well put together. Given I've always got far too many different accounts to remember I'd be lost without it.

Hi Gary
Got your pm mate. Sent email with attachment this evening. :beerjug:

Why bother with all that look at the last post take the first second or last letter of each word with a couple of No's and a punctuation mark or two upper and lower case un breakable. Write it down some where.

Good article and have signed up with LastPass and to be fair it's a doddle.
Thanks gordy
