i am looking at replacing my old 17,inch crt monitor with an lcd tv, so am i right in thinking that all i have to look for is a pc-input socket on the rear of the lcd tv ? or is there more to it than that ? thank,s

for it to work, yes thats basically it BUT check the lcd's native resolution, many lcd tv's have low native resolutions, since they're aimed at the consumer market rather than the computer user that also wants tv.

thank,s for that, i just checked and the lcd/tv i am looking at has a higher resolution than my old crt monitor
