My USB phone lead is knackered so tonight I upladed some pics from the phone via Bluetooth dongle for Whatton's phone pic thread.

While I was playing around with it I investigated the 'remote control' function that it gives me a bit more than I did when I first got the phone, and I'm chuffed :D

It lets you use the phone as a wireless mouse....the mini joystick selector thingy scrolls the cursor around and it clicks as normal.......pretty cool.......

The bestest bit of all though is the media player control.....

You do have to load up a playlist, but from there on you can retire to bed (as long as it's within bluetooth range of the 'pc) and control the mediaplayer with a proper display on the screen of the 'phone.....all the normal functions you'd expect, play, pause, stop, skip ,ff, rw, volume etc etc.......

Pretty funky stuff :D

(Hmmm......my PC runs a linux kernal when it's shut down that gives me full access to all the media, dvd, cd's and tv without having Windows booted up anyway......and I've got a 'proper' remote control for it as well....

Ah well  )
