PCs recycled - caeridee?

any suggestions for cheridees that will take PCs and connected kit (printers / monitors) and who may also verify that they will safely wipe the hard drive first ?

alternatively, any hints for quickest / easiest way to wipe the hard drive before "recycling" it, preferably without having to open it up and take a lump hammer to it ?

Hard drives

Think of everything you've ever done on your computer.
Now think if there's anybody, anywhere in the world, that you wouldn't like to see any of that.
Take the hard drive out, physically smash it and then smash the actual disc bit again.

As has been said....Killdisk...
If you have old laptops i do them up for a caeridee for a mate of mine, they go to schools in Africa.. got some screens if any body needs one..
