I've got a short engine K20.000 sitting in the barn crying out to be screwed twixt those frame rails:thumb2

Looks like it has the potential to be nice winter project but it never ceases to amaze me that some people seem to have such an ability to abuse machinery in the first place. During the search for my current bike last winter I saw some real howlers that looked as if they had been stored in the bilges of the Mary Rose.
 
Looked here on www.motoscout.de/ this morning and lots of cheapish bikes available with big ends!! Bit of a trip for you guys though. Prices (as in uk) drop lots in winter. I found a few Minters in the Cologne area for around the 3000€ mark earlier in the year. Maybe I should start buying them up and riding them over to the UK!

Just replace the bigend shells - couple hours work, far far less work than putting a new engine in. :nenau :nenau
 
If its a Citroen and you find that the garage has fitted locking wheel nuts and not given you the key you wished you could!!!

Rocking horse's, guess I'd better raise the price to £1,500 if the desireability factor has increased......














Only joking :augie assuming that the deal goes ahead (will hopefully confirm tomorow night latest), then the price is £1,000 and it goes to Proff as he was the first to express interest in the bike - can't think of a fairer way?

Clock: Never fitted as standard equipment to any airhead GS, only available as an optional extra costing over a one'r :eek:

Screen: Ultimate Source no longer exist but when they did they produced what is considered the best screen ever for a paralever GS

Special is having them without having paid for them :D

And secondhand you are more likely to find a cache of hens teeth on top of a heap of rocking horse shite than you are to find them :thumb2
 
ah i got both. so i wont get a better screen bugger need 4 inc taller or shorter was going to cut it down :clap :nono and the clock well any offers will swap for a bevel box. Bm

this stuff isnt so hardto get.
now monolever pd tanks are a bit of a challenge:rolleyes: for some.
