hi guys, not so much a problem with the tomtom software, but

i also use the pda for music, and now i have added tomtom 5 if i have the music playing and start tomtom the music volume drops so much that i can only hear it at a standstill, Yoda comes through just fine, at the correct volume giving me directions but i cant hear my music,

help me please!!!!

p.s its an HP ipaq 4150 with windoze 2003/ media player 9

cheers guys

I have a different PDA (a Mitac Mio A701) and found that while the music volume was ok it kept being cut out completely by TomTom - like they were fightingand TomTom kept bitch slapping it down, if you see what I mean!

I bought PocketMusic in the end as it also has nice big buttons, but there are plenty others out there.

I tried another MP3 player and all was well (less for the fact that the Autocom wire keeps going up the swannee... looking to an Intaride to solve that but thats another thing.)

Cheers,

Mike

Mine does that, sort of. I ended up putting the main volume up to level 2, TomTom's volume to about 40% and then starting media player and adjusting the volume to a comfortable level.
TomTom does override the music, but that's okay for me. I've also tried to use the 'adjust volume to speed' thing but found that it was too quiet when slow and too loud when fast.
Wish I could get hold of the Yoda voice.
