Peak District Trail Ride

Off Road in The Peak District June 20th 2011.

Trail Riding today in the Peak District . SkyGod (Gary) took us round . Discussed our level of competence and based on my off road ability on the 1200GSA we set off on some easy trails. Gary stopped at the beginning of each trail to explain what we would encounter.Also so to check if I was ok with the trail we had just done.
Being a lads day out we haven’t taken many pictures.

1200GSA is more than capable of doing the trails done today. My moments were deep gravel on the bottom of one trail, when we were on the rutted lanes tried to move from one ended up in the bushes , dab and ride on. Exciting on the mud sections. Left the group after a tea stop at Monyash . Home for 2.10pm bike washed and out to work for 4pm till 8.30pm. Happy but knackered.

Thanks Gary for the ride out, twas excellent, good lanes and company . Met some good folk off this parish. A grand day out.

A Cracking day lads, fantastic weather and some good riders. Well done for throwing that GSA around

Will try and do this at least a couple of Mondays per month.
