I remember being involved in a Grasstrack event in Courtown for two years in a local tourism capacity in the early 90s.
One of the main contacts at the grasstrack side was one of the Peats, who used to come down in a lovely Rover P5B Coupe which was in the family from new or almost new.

yes a Mister Peat was on with Mary Wilson on Radio 1 this pm. Liquidation sale of some description at the weekend and then some sort of resurrection thereafter.
Probably hear the clip the RTE player.
