I have an early (13 reg) WC GS.

I am struggling with sore ankles, particularly my right ankle and it is getting worse. After about 30 or 40 mins the front of my ankle (top of the foot/bottom of the shin) is really aching and I have to take my feet off the pegs and dangle them as I ride. It then becomes a regular requirement!

Would a peg lowering kit help by relieving the pressure I am putting through my ankles onto the pegs?

And, if it would help, do you have any recommendations for what kits I should consider?

Many thanks

I know many will disagree with me but i think peg lowering is a bad idea

A GS has loads of room between seat and pegs evn for the taller gentleman IMO

Lowering the pegs considerably compromise the ground clearance which is a safety thing

If yo need more space between seat and peg i would raise the seat height before i did anything else

You could try changing your boots as that may be the problem ??

If you raise the seat and then lack height to reach the ground I can recommend these as a vertically challenged fella https://www.daytona.de/en/index.php?section=mediadir&cmd=detail&lid=1&eid=12

I have a mate with bad knees and he put lower pegs on his GS

Every bloody corner he was scraping the pegs it was worrying following him ......

100% agree with that.
