I own 3 Rolex's the wife bought me a sub date for my 40th I bought myself a Sub no date for my 50th and then a Datejust for my 60th I also have super clones of them all so wear the clones as the other 3 have not been worn more than 3 times, all my mates know I have the real deals and are amazed when I go out and start painting or repairing the bike in the clones as they think im mad wearing a real one working !! good topic of conversation LOL the real ones are for the kids when I roll off the shelf they can either keep them or sell them !! I also have a fake pepsi that ive worn everyday for about 5 years now and it still keeps decent time and still looks good, out of all the watches I have Omega's included the fake pepsi has had more comments than all the others !!

I wear my sub all the time, diy, washing the bike. Bought it to wear not sit in a box. I also have a seiko on a nato strap if going out for beers. Not keen on getting mugged.

I bought my sub non date 13 years ago with money my dad left me.
Wear it every day now ,even when working, damaged the clasp crashing a dirt bike in the alps , its all part of the character and life .
Im getting my moneys worth, lifes too short to wear fakes.

How good are they?

Theres a big range of clones. The low end shitters that are obviously horrible and can be spotted a mile off. The mid range £150-300 range that get some things right but lack clone movements and have incorrect hand stacks etc. Superclones like this one that have correct UV, crystal etching, correct movement (though no free balance). Then the very top end which are £600+ that now have free balance movements.

Plus you’d have to import it from somewhere and risk customs seizure, which they appear to be cracking down on more at the moment.

They are fakes. That you need to understand. I have a couple that are great. Look good feel good and are very difficult to tell. But if it packs up the day after I buy it there’s no come back…
