Performance controller

Not a bad price. Looks like it might be useful for those with K&N's and Y pieces!

Velly interlesting!

An ingenious invention of the father of the electronic Tunings for fuel injection engines and a perfect optimization instrument, with which you can stop the achievement development of your boxers easily. Full achievement gains, a supple (no more Kostantfahrruckeln) engine run and a undreamt-of fast fuel intake are guaranteed. More torques and achievement over the entire speed range (approx. 9% performance increase over the entire drivingactive range from 3000 to 7000/min). Spontaneous fuel intake. Faster winding (14% up faster than original). No Konstantfahrruckeln. Perfect already preset basic tuning. Easily even adjustable performance over the entire number of revolutions volume. Attitude on all changes (Blue air cleaner, exhaust systems etc..) and conditions can be made fast. Fast resetting to the basic adjustment. Engine-harmful attitudes or faulty operations are impossible. Simple plug connection to the wiring harness. No interference into the Motronic, wiring harness etc.. With Lambdasonden connection. Special "Wunderlich edition" for the European market (rating improved again, the there in this country world-wide probably best Spritqualitaeten available are). Absolutely waterproof and stable overall construction. Extremely small housing (84 x 50 x 10 mm). Completely with self adhesive Klettband, cable straps and guidance. 30 days return right: They have to convince themselves 30 days time of the qualities of the system. If it should not assure to you, then you can return it without indication of reasons and you keep the full purchase price refunded. For the gs the base adjustment (with series muffler, collecting tank, elbow union and air cleaner) already offers a plus at achievement and torque and a clearly noticeable plus at run culture (winds up substantially more softly and evenly). In connection with the achievement elbow union, an accessory muffler and Blue air cleaner here undreamt-of Tuning possibilities result. The supply takes place completely ready to be installed with original plug connectors.

This Techlusion controller Looks interesting, would it smooth out the low speed jerkyness which BMW cant or dont want to sort out?

Who`s going to try it first and are SPC going to charge 289 Euros = £207 or will they charge 289 Euro = £289! ;)

If SPC do the decent thing and charge around the £210 mark then I could be tempted. :D

It seems that this controller is manufactured by Techlusion for Wunderlich exclusively (you can see the W. logo on the controller); so I decided to have a quick look at the Techlusion website: many controller for BMW but I couldn't find any controller for the GS1200...sounds odd to me...

I used this to translate:

So I'm not so clever as it might appear;)

I suspect that Teclusion haven't gone beyond the prototype stage yet. Both Touratech and Wunderlich seem to be advertising stuff months before it's actually on the market. Get those orders rolling in!

It's more likely to be £289 methinks. I paid SPC £275 for the 289 Euro Urgo Sitzbank.

Even if it does boost power by 9%:

a - who needs it?

b - I bet fuel consumption rises by more.

Seems a bit of a waste of cash to me to buy a "performance" exhaust and then have to spend another 300 quid on a chip to make it work properly :D

(comments about making one from an old baken bean tin welcome :D )

SPC had my 1200GS in two weeks ago, and uploaded the latest fuel map whilst doing other warranty work.

If you haven't had it done yet, I recommend you go and get it booked in for a fuel map update, it is a major improvement to both the low speed smoothness and top end power. MPG has also improved slightly.

Hi
I had the latest fuel map uploaded at Allan Jefferies last week, there is a lot more power at the top end
But also a lot more vibration in the bars & seat. Have you found the same; it’s a pain in the butt.
Just got a twinmax to check the balance, hope this smoothes it out.

jeff,

Re: vibration and fuel map.
Also had my 1200gs serviced at Jefferies a few weeks back. The software was also updated. Like you have found the fueling much better, particularly at slow speeds when previously it could be snatchy at times. However have also noticed an increase in vibration. Wonder if this is peculiar to the remapping, or perculiar to the service at Jefferies?

Had my bike remapped at SPC last week and found it to be smoother on idling and general riding.
