Just thought I would share the awesome service I've just had from Performance Parts ( http://www.performanceparts-ltd.com/ ) sourcing a part for the Remus can on my bike.

I'm in the process of fitting pannier racks to my HP2 and the supporting strut was fouling on the can mount so I called them at the end of the day yesterday to see if there was a different mount - I happened to catch the Sales Director (Andy Wilcox). Despite the fact that I don't know a damn thing about cans - Andy was extremely patient while I tried to explain my predicament. Once that was cleared up, it was unfortunately too late to get the warehouse guys to find the part - but no problem, Andy promised to call me this morning to see if they had something. He did call but saying that the part we hoped existed didn't :tears But further discussion and we came up with another idea - which he did manage to find the right part for. I'm going on Sunday so needed the part for tomorrow - so instead of risking depending on Royal Mail... Andy offered to take the part home so that I could pick it up this evening!!

All of this for an £18 part... and I wasn't even the one who bought the can in the first place! All of this work for a measly £18! These guys rock! :bow I can't recommend them highly enough :clap:clap:clap

When I dealt with them they acted like the biggest bunch of ********* I ever had the misfortune of dealing with..... One of the directors I had dealings with was a absolute aroggant idiot to put it mildly.... Looks like you had a miracle good day from them....

I spent quite alot of money with them and reckon there the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with...

Performance Parts are one of the most professional and friendly outfits you could hope to deal with:thumb Andy is a truly nice guy and all the staff are helpful and knowlegable about their products. Where else can you order something before 4.00pm and get it delivered the next morning by UPS?
If you want Akrapovic or Remus then these are the guys to deal with:thumb2

Thank you very much for the kind words gentlemen..........we have just joined the forum to enable us to keep members informed of new GS stuff.

We have a simple business philosophy of ''treat your customer how you would like to be treated yourself''.............that's not rocket science.

Err......Mr Wright..............yes we remember you............i think the less said on a public forum the better, i think our dealings together are already well documented here.

Dunno about their service, but their website sucks.

Looks very flash, but it's a bugger to read.

Why can't people have a simple, easy-to-read format that doesn't rely on Flash graphics? A larger font would be useful, too.
