took my seats off at the weekend to use the tools and two of the rubber straps that hold the adjuster bars on the front seat parted company. they had perished - photo when I get bike and camera in the same place.
spoke to Michael at Jefferies who promptly ordered new ones on warranty.
anyone else noticed similar problems.
bike is 8 months old with 12500 miles on clock.

Me to Jez, rang Pidcocks and Keith got me four new ones couple of days later. Seems the earlier bikes were a bit prone to perishing. Not worth grumbling about though.

Same here. Looked today and the straps are cracking the full length. Had the bike since August.

Talked to Vines about it and they said they'd had no feedback from others on this but will replace at next service no probs.

Had all 4 replaced in the Summer when I noticed they were perishing. One of the replacements has since been replaced. :) Haven't checked recently but I think all now OK.

They all do. It's crap rubber & the dealers know. If they say otherwise they're not telling the truth!:green gri
Get at least 8 at the time. Then you will have a years supply.
