Petition- Green lanes consultation group

Well unlike most others, at least they've responded to this one....even if it is a fudged answer :blast

Read the Government’s response

Natural England established the Stakeholder Working Group on Public Rights of Way over a year ago. Natural England designed the Group to include a balanced and numerically equal representation of the three main sectors with an interest in unrecorded rights of way:
  • Farming, land management and business interests
  • Rights of way users
  • Local authority interests
The size of the Group was limited to permit workable debate on a complex subject. Members are appointed as individuals and five people were selected to represent each of these sectors. It would have been impossible to include an individual representative of each of the many different recreational interests in public rights of way. Instead, Natural England carefully selected individuals capable of representing more than one type of user.
The work of the Group has been conducted in an open and receptive way, with notes of meetings and other relevant documents published on Natural England’s website .
Feedback and contributions have also been invited from people and organisations with an interest in the Group’s work. Many views and suggestions have been received in this way during the year the Group has been meeting, and there is opportunity for further input. We would be keen to hear any points related to motorcycle use that are important for the Group to take into account.
These can be sent via the “calls for evidence” email link on Natural England’s website: [email protected]
Should the Group arrive at an agreed report that persuades Government that particular changes in law or procedure are called for, Government would of course consult fully and publicly before deciding how to proceed.

Had the same reply says absolutely nothing at all! (IMV)

Yups....they've completely (and deliberately) missed the point....

Many views and suggestions have been received in this way during the year the Group has been meeting, and there is opportunity for further input. We would be keen to hear any points related to motorcycle use that are important for the Group to take into account.

It wasn't about having views accepted into the group. it was being represented fairly ON the group :blast:mad:
