Petrol hose clamps.

Just been serviceing the 1100GS and while replacing the fuel filter, i found hose clamps i've never come across before. Very difficult to remove and replace as they look like they need a special tool. Anyone know anything about this. I'm going to replace them with more conventional types but i'd prefer to use BMW ones in the future. Anyone????

Just snip them off with wire cutters or tin snips, there a pain in
the hole and replace with Jubilee Clips...job done

Yep same here. You could buy the proper ones from motorworks but they are a pain in the arse to fit and remove. Buy a box of jubilee clips from Aldi. They have a fairly close size. It's what I did.....

better to get fuel tube clamps from car shop which are made for the size. Small jubilee clip wont form properly. Bin
