Hi all

First post here so thanks for bearing with me.

Refuelling earlier - nasty spurt from the nozzle, and some spillage over the bike. Got home and cleaned ASAP with mild soapy solution but very annoyingly, stains remain on the plastics either side of the tank.

Any top tips or products to (hopefully) remove them, please?

Many thanks.

Touch wood - unless my eyes deceive me… alcohol actually really is the answer. Isopropyl alcohol, to be specific… seems to have lifted what I guess were the lubricants within the petrol from the plastic. Will check again tomorrow in the daylight! 🤞🏻

i find alcohol is the answer to most things

seriously tho, i use gt85 on plastics, simular to wd40 but cheaper :) silicone spray works good too

I managed to get petrol on my 1150 GSA screen once and ended up replacing it.

If you jean the matt/satin black panels then gt85, any dashboard sprays ,armourall , bumper cleaner etc etc alk will remove fuel stains

They come back sometimes though

I got some a 1150 screen once and nothing would shift it
