Hi

I seem to have had a brain freeze or could be the first sign of senile dementure

Yesterday removed the petrol tank on my 1997 GS 1100, as i have done on numerous occasions to service the bike. But have a nagging feeling that I might not have connected everything back up together.

The bike is running ok and I might be confusing myself with other bikes that have

My question is how many electrical connections are there, is it just the one multi pin connector that sits at the side of the tank or are there any more.

Thanks in advance for any replies

One plug for metal tanks - Plus an extra single pin connector with the early 1100 plastic tanks.

When I change my plastic tank for the brand new steel tank I've had lying around for years, do I have to anything with the single pin connector (a brown earth wire from memory...)?
