Just changed fuel filter and rubber seal around the plate its mounted on. Does anyone know of a way to test the rubber seal is sealing without filling tank?

Yeah but it involves putting an ir supply on the return line and listening for leaks. Probably easier to fill it with petrol.

take off the balancing pipe(s) assuming you have the adv model tank
Assuming i do that and it leaks, whats the easiest way to empty a tank quickly
If you`re feeling paranoid,then just put enough in to cover the seal and check for leaks with the tank tilted over that way.
If it leaks tilt the tank the other way,away from the seal.
