my bike went in for service last week.after reading reports of fd failures gave mine the 12 to 6 wobble and there seemed to be a bit more than 1mil play so mentioned it to service dept.yep they have replaced it under warranty,just before my bimble to croatia next week.nothing unusual in that except my warranty only has 7 days left. phew. a very satisfied customer,and a big up for chester bmw.

Jim, my 1200GSA went in today for its 18,000 mile service, I'm warrantied until this coming Friday, and guess what, my FD is fecked and they're sorting it under warranty on THURSDAY! Talk about close!!!!! Thanks Southport Superbikes!

mine hadnt done much more,about 21k.just back from croatia so up to 24k now.might be time for a change. jim
