I’ve been looking for a tour of the Philippines for some time and found a new company offering guided group tours. I’m now booked on for March ‘27. Weirdly enough, the owner is from Wigan
The tour itself is really good value.

I’m looking at a few days in Manila before the tour starts. Lots of history there (They suffered appalling atrocities from the occupying Japanese in WW2) and a real foodie spot by all accounts. I’ll be doing a write up, but in the meantime, any tips from those that have been in terms of areas to stay, hidden gems etc?
Still pondering my choice of Chinese rental bike, but swaying towards the Leoncini 800 from their current list.
It was either the Philippines or Ladakh. Fair play to those that have braved the hardship of the Himalayas and now wear the t shirt, but I came to realise that I’d sooner ride in the sunshine and crash in a nice hotel with pool at my age!
