Philippines-Manila. Bike suggestions

A Pal who is not a confident traveller is going to Manila in the Philippines. He's not keen to travel alone.

I'm seriously considering going along if I can plan a solo bike tour whilst there, for about 6 days.

I can find little organised online.

Any suggestions? I like the idea of visiting a new place, but really fancy making it a motorcycle road trip.

Don’t bother with Manila unless you like dirt, bad food, overcrowding, pollution and shite riding conditions ...... head for Malaysia

A bit of a thread resurrection but thinking of going to the Philippines myself next year and would like any info that is likely to affect things.
