Phone call probs with 300 kit and dongle

Hi there

Have installed kit 300 today with part number 1273 dongle to work with Nokia slide bluetooth mobile. Works an absolute treat sometimes but not at all the other times.

I presume the beeps you hear on start up are things connecting / pairing?

Is there an order to do things so as to not confuse the bike and pairing / connecting process i.e. start bike, connect lead to headset, wait for beeps and then go etc or what?

Bluetooth is always switched on , on the mobile.

Any help would be aprreciated, thanks

I 'appear' to have sussed this out but your help and advice would still be made very welcome.

Had a few gripes to start with when I did this but after realising the Autocom does auto-answer on its own without having to do anything to your phone it worked a treat. Basic procedure for me is:

1) Do pairing procedure for phone as per instructions (remembered double flash bit)

2) Leave phone in pocket with bluetooth on

3) Get on bike, plug in, start her up and listen for two high pitch beeps. Low pitch boop mean no phone. Works every time.
