Phone endoscope camera

Has anyone tried one of these that can connect to android or iPhones. There are many on the market from £10-£50. The reviews vary as well as the picture quality. I would like one to use on my bike (1977 R100RS, just had it one week) so need reasonably good resolution/picture quality. Also to be used around the house (drains, underfloor boards, etc).

If you have bought and been satisfied with picture results I would appreciate your recommendation

I have one and I suppose it can have its uses if in a tight fix. The focal length is fixed so under certain circumstances, your image may not be 100% sharp.

One thing I found was that you need a phone (android) that has OTG (on-the-go) capability, and some of mine didn't!!
This basically means that your camera will work via the micro usb (charging) port on the phone.

I bought one to use with my iPhone.
The quality is outstanding for sub £20 (when I bought it 3 moths ago)

It works well but just bear in mind that the focal length isn’t too great. By that I mean that it’s great for looking down pipes at blockages that are right in front of the lens, etc, but passing it through a hole in the wall to checkout your neighbour across the room in her undies wouldn’t give you a great pic

I went for the narrower boroscope and the 6 lights are excellent, those advertising more LEDs actually have a wider diameter.

Any other recent recommendations for these? Need to investigate clogged shower drain. Online reviews perhaps not to be trusted so real life purchase experiences may be useful. The seller mentioned by OldRat in post #3 above no longer sells the same or similar.
