Hi

Any preferences / experience here on photo organizing / library software for Windows ?

The main options seem to be Picassa and the Adobe Photoshop software suite. Neither of which I've used, so keen to find out which is better / easier to use / more stable / options etc ? As I only want to port all the photos / videos once.

thanks

No Mac stuff please.

Picasa - just seems to work. Sorry if that's not a comprehensive review but it's all I've used for years. Has some basic editing functions but you don't have to use them.

No need for a Google account either if you don't want to upload stuff to a Web Album.

Aye, Picasa is good.....it can take some time to find everything initially, but just set it off searching all your hard drives overnight and it will be done by the morning :thumb2

Thanks

Thanks guys, I've been looking at Picassa and it seems more than ok - especially for free. Beyond advanced editing features etc, I'm not convinced that paying for Adobe Photoshop products is worth the expense / alleged steep learning curve.

cheers
