PIAA Powersport Xtra bulbs

I picked up a PIAA bulb in the USA for my R1150GS - Powersport Xtra H1 p/n 0B1SE. The Powersport is a vibration-proof bulb designed for bikes, quads, snowmobiles etc. It is a 55w bulb that performs like 100W. I am very pleased with it. It cost me US$26.70 (approx £18 including tax). Trouble is PIAA don't do them in this country Maybe if enough people asked them....

As an aside, what's the trick for removing the main beam bulb? I can't seem to get the plastic cover off the back. It's not clear [enough] in the manual and it's driving me mad. I want to fit a brighter bulb in there as well.

If in doubt, give it a clout!

If I remember rightly, the plastic bit is like a bayonet fitting - twist anti-clockwise to remove it. Seem to remember that it was a tight fit........hmmm..that sounds familiar!
