Should add it’s got a rear rack,a P/M exhaust system and also an original silencer though I don’t have the like pipe.

Lol, all possible, but adds a chunk of cost with van rental plus fuel and during school holidays days are scarce...

These are great machines.

My mate bought one - we live near Camberley and the bike was far away in Wrexham. We drove up one cold winter night and tag teamed the ride back. I mention this not with any judgement on how far you should go to buy a bike, that’s a personal decision, but to highlight the fact that we did over 150 miles on the M6 and M40.

Not what a Vespa is really built for, but the 250 did brilliantly, easily maintaining 70 and never feeling like it was on its limit. I was really surprised and impressed. Oh, and it did the whole journey on about an egg cup of fuel 😂

I had one of these. Great scoots and so easy to live with. This is a very good buy for someone IMHO

Why is all the cool stuff always so far away?
That look lovely

Go for it, I'mkincking up a car from Cambridge next weekend, of this forum..travelling up from Cardiff..using the girlfriends car. I sold it to her by saying 'it'll be a nice romantic night away 🫣🤣🤣😇🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

Well, if you're coming from Wales tell her you're taking her abroad overnight. A little bit of international travel is so much more appealing, and romantic. 👍👍

And make sure you choose Premier Inn rather than Travelodge…far classier.

This was mine 125 variant that I had purchased it brand new in 2013. Then a year or so later I’ve sold it to buy Honda Forza 125, when they first came out. I needed more storage capacity for my commute. Fun machines! I had a blast whilst I had it. The pics below are what it looked like when I advertised it for sale.

You could get a fortune for that seat, if you advertised it in the 1300 section 👍
It looks the proper dog’s bollocks….
GLWS
😂😂them R&D boys at BMW could learn a lot from this little Vespa, comfortable, fuel economy and reliability!

Sent it to my mate as he was looking for one.

But he says no chance in red.

(Staunch LUFC fan).

You’re not wrong. Had my 300 since 2019 and it’s never missed a beat! GLWS
