I build custom bikes in my spare time, more recently Harley chops, but used to build streetfighters etc, this is a pic of my most recent build in 100% biker this month, all my own work, not a kit bike before any one asks! took around 5 months to go from a stock sportster to the bike below, motor rear pulley and belt is the only thing that remains from the original bike.

Bike has since been sold (photos were taken back in march) and halfway through another build at the moment

How do you get the lipstick to match? I can never get 'em to sit still long enough :D

That's just AWESOME! Proper metal-smithing. If I even looked vaguely right on one of those - I'd buy that one! :thumb2 It'd be a bit too much "Hells Admen" though... :D

In your SPARE time? FFS - give up the day job, you've got some proper talent there (and I don't mean the young lady)

thanks all for the compliments, would love to give up the day job and build custom bikes but unfortunately there just aint the money for it, also have a family to worry about and a mortgage to pay! happy for now working away in my garage and shed making stuff, one day perhaps!

Nice looking bike. 80 Spoke wheels - I bet they take some polishing. You need to visit Tarka :D

Bloody anorak..I bet you actually counted them :D
Went into Bill Smiths of Chester today...they have an 03 Harley in there and are selling it for a guy...just £30,000 he wants for it !!! Looks a £10,000 jobbie at most but what do I know....fattest back tyre I have EVER seen on a bike though !!

The one above was valued at around £16k when it was finished. Build cost was less than half that. In general you only get what someone is willing to pay for it! if you build a bike just to sell you have to build something that appeals to the masses instead of one that appeals to you!
