Picked this up from the XR forum

Great review, they were correct with the fueling issue on the multi however only the bikes in the states suffered with this, something to do with the fuel and mapping.

Both great bikes, but its all personnel, and not what's faster. I'd buy another XR when I've had enough of the ducati, hopefully by then it will have been updated somewhat ! Led headlights - softer option ESA - eliminated the vibes.

Just watched that. They looked like they had fun!

So the Multi is 30bhp down at the rear wheel, from the published figures?

Ducati had some issues with the mapping on us bikes something to do with the fuelling but I'll let you no what a UK spec bike has when I've had it on the Dyno, be interesting to see what the full termi - upmap gives and because the gearing is so long I've gone dwn one on the front (same as 3 on the rear) . One thing bike mags/video don't mention is gearing on the duc, it has a 40 teeth rear and the XR 43 this makes the gearing long on the duc and loses out on acceleration, give the duc the same gearing and it's a different ball game like a cat amongst the pigeons even with less hp.

However all the above will be pub banter mines faster then yours, until they bring the HP XR out nxt year.

I've heard rumours of an HP XR. Is it definitely coming?
