Very nice RideTheWind.....very very nice. :thumb2 Just look at those bright shiny headers. :augie But what are those panniers and topbox - they are not the standard aluminium GSA kit so were they included in the price by the dealers without any choice or did you choose them yourself?

I also came from a Hayabusa and just wished I'd discovered the Joys of Tossing earlier. ;) Now you had better get familiar with NippyNormans emporium because you sure as hell won't be able to resist the temptation for very long. Happy an safe riding mate. :beerjug:

Looking good ridethewind.. But as old Rascal said why the non standard panniers ? They through in the alloy panniers on mine for free .. I guess you opted for the standard GS Ones ?

I agree colour is a personal taste but RED is faster :green gri

As the others say - check the panniers if you did not specify those as the Aluminium are a FREE offer - the Varios come with the GS

ands for your info to upgrade the GS to the GSA panniers is an extra £450.

I opted for the vario set as its more praticle for everyday use. I have one of those "must wear a tie" jobs so I put all my kit in the panniers which I can stretch out when parked up at work. I received the ADV ones free when I picked the bike up. I was originally going to sell them but might just keep them so I have the best of both worlds. Feel very lucky to be able to have one at last. Just need to ride & pay for her :bounce1

I thought about the wheels as the offer was"have what you want " I got a good deal from Vines of Guildford. I opted for the the standard wheels so I could stay up to 3am cleaning them :mmmm I was at Newlands corner on Sat, met another UKGser who had GS with ADV bits. I am learning that this new world is all very personal taste. I actually have a sat nav that works for once too :clap Now Normandy isnt that far.........can`t wait till shes run in & am off to the beaches...:thumb
