Picked up my new 1250 GSA yesterday and managed to get it home before the rain. :-)
Went for base model and added cruise control, heated grips and fog lights. Non ESA. Back to the old school and keeping it simple! No 'scaffolding' on the back, just the GSA top box and a tail pack on the rear seat. Wunderlich risers (up and back), grip puppies and will be fitting my tinted short 'rallye' screen. Was hoping it would be on Bridgestone A41s, but it's on the Anakee 'adventure' tyres.....so far so good! Switched from 2017 GS back to GSA. TFT is nice touch and personally love the ice grey / red seat combo. Notably heavier of course, but yet to really notice additional 'grunt' as ride 1 home was inevitably gentle! :-) Roll on Spring / summer / Euro trips......

Can't work out how to attach a photo, so I include a link to another GS forum below where it was super straight forward! :-)

Hi Evskij - I bought it from Coopers Tunbridge Wells, but maybe they pulled it in from there, I don't know.

That is lovely, I am not big into grey but with the red accents it look great.

Thanks dude. I also like the 'exclusive' paint job, but I like the old school 'nod' with this combo, plus the 'ice grey' is quite fresh.

Ahh fair play. It might be the case. As they had it back in mid January and that was a bare bones bike without any gizmos other than standard (now TFT, LED turn signals and headlight) die yours have Nav prep (cradle for the NAV?)

No, it doesn't have the nav prep. I have a pretty fresh Garmin zumo which doesn't fit the BMW cradle, so I just ram mount it to the middle of the handlebars and hard wire it to the battery. In some ways, it's not as 'clean' looking as using the BMW nav prep mount, but (call me old fashioned), I think it can look a bit too 'busy' with the GPS and TFT so close to each other.......so I would have removed that anyway. With the lower 'rallye' screen, it's probably nicer looking to do so anyway. Those 'old' Garmin Zumos do what I need (basic navigation). :-)

In that case the bike you’ve got, came from Lind in Welwyn garden city. Has yours got 90° valves on wheels? If yes, it is a 100% the “bike” I’ve seen.

Look at it from the distance and you couldn’t really tell the difference between yours and TE specked up bike.

I think they all have the right angled valves now? I'll have a look at them next time I am in the garage. It won't necessarily be the same bike? Maybe Lind also had one in?

DC - yes, pannier rails are an 'option' on the base bike. From memory £200 or so? I took them off my previous GSA TE and gave them to the dealer when I part exchanged that one. If you don't use panniers, they do look nicer without the scaffolding I think.

I think it's the nicest colour of the 3 available.
Two mates picked up the Exclusive and HP (switched gold for black wheels on the HP) and I definitely think the grey one is nicer.
