New Tyres fitted and interestingly the idiot, I must stop calling him that as he is my longest serving friend of 42 years now and is called Richard, has fitted the same to the KTM 1290 SDR. We have both gone for Metzler Roadtec 01 so it will be interesting or possibly not to see how they fare on the 2 bikes that are both mental fast but different in the delivery of that madness.
Oh yes I have given the XR a good clean so it is nice and shiny so as to impress any foreign pretty young girls

Have the roadtech 01's on my 14 GSA, done 5000 miles and still going strong, had the right footpeg down a couple of weeks ago on a roundabout just south of Marlborough, woke me up a bit, but they certainly inspire confidence.
