Found these old pics today, so scanned and sorted them - quality isn't up to digitals but you get the drift

They are from 1997 or 1998, long before digital pics

Back then the Picos was a trail riders paradise, no restrictions and we used to go every year, a bunch of TRF lads from the North East, initially led by George Cherry and then by ourselves

We stayed at the Infantado in Ojedo, near Potes and had a week of excellent trailriding, in & around either Potes or Riano

On top of the world, this is one of my favourite trail riding pics, just sums up the love of the hills

A mix of bikes and 80's/90's retro riding gear

Lot of XR's - mainly 250's,DR350's, RMX250, a Husky, a KTM, even a XL185s

Refugio, going up to the back of the Funte De Cable car (trail now closed)

Some big river crossings, down on the valley floor near to Cervera de Pisuerga, down on the Rio Frio - this trail was 30 miles long and criss-crossed the Rio frequently

Finally my XR250, on top of the Cable car viewing platform @ Funte De, when you were allowed to ride right up there

Great trail riding, from the last Millenium
