Had Fuzeblock sitting around after taking it of my R1100RT when I sold it. Had extra car type aux socket and also water proof case for my Galaxy S3 with power feed and have just bought LED driving lights and thought fitting fuzeblock would be easiest way to wire every thing so it all becomes live when bike switched on. Problem I have always had was were to fit fuzeblock near battery as space is limited, on UK bike I found ideal space to fit it only issue being left hand panel must be removed for access and not just center panel.
Pics are of installation position and show feed for power take of from bike (bought plug from BMW so no cutting into bikes electrics)

Hope this helps some one :D

Some pics of LED lights I bought and fitted:-

2X White 9 LED Car Auto 12V DRL Daytime Running Day Driving Fog Light Lamp

Ebay Item number:- 111039744690

Not to bad for just £12.21+ free delivery :D

Using Fuzeblock meant I did not need to worry about any relays.

Still wondering if I should fit a switch as lighs stay on until canbus shuts them off, also not sure about any MOT or other implications re them being on all the time, any one got any advise on this matter.

Hows the clearance with the screw that fits in the speednut right above the location of the install?

No issues at all it does not touch Fuzeblock - I have been thinking about fitting this for some time but could not think were to place it apart from beside the tail light but this was to far and did not want to modify bike to accommodate unit as if I sell it I might want to keep Fuzeblock for future bike. In the end it is not the most ideal place as side panel must be removed to access unit but it is near battery and is reasonably protected from the elements.
Used velcro to fix it in position.

I have been into unit to fit smaller fuse for my Galaxy S3 and there are no marks on the top of the Fuzeblock from the screw so there must be enough clearance or the screw would mark the unit, but glad to say no marks at all.
Just lucky in that respect because I never even gave a thought to the screw just thought about panel clearance and until you asked still had not thought about any issues with the panel screw :-)

Checked clearance tonight & there is not a lot of clearance, just enough so need to watch what you use to fix Fuseblock, velcro I used was very thin just like you would use on clothing.
Cant remember were I got it but think it was Maplins and was for attaching electrical items and it is sticky backed and unit appears to be secure enough

Hope this helps some one :D

Indeed it did - this helped tremendously when I was trying to sort out somewhere to stick my block. (Oo-er) Question, though - the little area it's sitting on... anyone know if that's safe to drill into? It's part of the air chamber it seems, but not connected to it. Have it connected via velcro like yourself, but when I ride there seems to be a bit of... rattling about, and would like to screw the base in to make it a wee bit sturdier?

Fits in there a treat...
