Picture size for posts?

Hi folks

I want to attach apiccie to a new thread to give u al something to laugh at (believe me it is rank!) but when I attach it states that the picture is too big max of 125000 pixles?
There are pictures from other peope in threads far bigger than the one I am trying to post.
Any ideas? I am not a tech whizz unfortunately but I just have to share this pic. It is in a word document if that makes any difference.

And I still have that annoying damn black circle on the envelope next to my thread! How dod I get rid? I haven't subscribed to any threads so it is not that!

So don't ever reply to or start a thread and you'll be OK!


On the attachment front, make sure that the picture is a .jpg file (certainly not .bmp!)

You can resize pictures and save with different amounts of compression with the free program Irfanview

To check the photo you are trying to attach, right click on it in explorer and select properties.

Oh, just noticed that it's in a Word document. You'll need to export it from there to attach as an image.

Look to see if right clicking on it gives you a "save image" option
