HERE HERE!!! Rudie

what a great day!! but people need to be able to get themselves out of trouble and not reley on those around them too much,if at all.
Even a small THANK YOU to someone who carried a pannier under her arm for a few miles on narrow roads and in those high blustery winds, all she got was a cleaning bill for her troubles. she only had the jacket for 2 weeks and it's all marked under the arm , so Thanks!!! you know who I mean Mr ungreatful.

Well said, (I was about to post the same thing when PC gremlins struck but only just got computer working again after major re-install.) I think a "thankyou" goes a long way and a tenner for Stacey's cleaning would help. It would of helped if Mr Ungrateful had even noticed the bloody pannier had fell off in the 1st place, also well done to the others who temp-repaired with borrowed bungee straps ect.

Hi I am Adam, I have just been made aware of this by Jono.

I almost certainly said thank you to the girl who carried it as she give it back to me. She was still sat pillion and had her helmet on (ear plugs?) when she gave it me back so don't know if she heard me, obviously not. After getting it back the main concern was to get it on so not to hold everyone up. Thanks to Terry he was a great help also and the fellas who lent me the bungys... They'll be be at Jono's this sat when I pick the bike up if you want them back.

Not knowing who you all where I didn't know who the girl was when we stopped further down in the village to say thank you properly when we all had our helmets off. I know you didn't make yourself known to me and mention your jacket! Again only Terry and another couple of guys approached me as we was waiting trying to solve the pannier problem and the help was wellappreciated.

Send me a pm and I'll happily send a cheque for the dry cleaning. I don't like being called ungrateful as I'm more than happy to send you a cheque and say thankyou but with you not approaching me out on the ride afterwards, me not knowing who you where to find you when we stopped, it's a bit unfair calling me ungrateful! If you would of come over saying hi when we stopped properly and said you was the one who picked it up and needed to get your jacket cleaned I would of give you the £10 or so their and then.

Mr ungreatful the memory man???

Welcome to the site Adam ,now an official unsubscribed TOSSER!

Now let see, you rode your bike past her bike and mine after bob helped you turn it around, and as bob walked past us he took the pannier off the kind rejected young lady and we both then assisted you in trying to put it back where it came from. and then when we stopped you want this shy yong lady to seek you out and say look at my jacket.I may be old fashoned but I think it was your place to find the person who helped you out and express yourself.
Its got nothing to do with money it's the lack of basic manners in my book.

As for your greatful offer to go out of your way to reunite the lost bungee cords with their long lost owners:thumb what class.

Get over yourself.

I said thankyou as she give me the pannier, me the pannier and it was much appreciated as she passed it to me. She must not of heard with the helmet on and still sat on the bike which is why I am now on here to say thank you, again.

I hear about your message so come on here (a site i never use) to say thank you and offer the lady the money for dry cleaning as it clearly was a misunderstanding. Yet going out my way asking the girl to contact me on here, offering the money for the cleaning bill for an issue I could of very easily just forgot and ignored still isn't good enough and makes me a TOSSER?

and then when we stopped you want this shy yong lady to seek you out and say look at my jacket.I may be old fashoned but I think it was your place to find the person who helped you out and express yourself.

As I said, I said sorry as she give me the pannier, I wasn't aware that she hadn't heard it. I couldn't spot her when in the villiage as I didn't know who she was, some people had gone their separate ways, as far as I was aware it was a non issue as i said thank you then got onto trying to fix the pannier with help from Terry and a few others (again it was much appreciated, thank you).

If anyone is being a TOSSER now it is you. As soon as I found out about this I come here to say thanks, sorry about the misunderstanding and offer money for the cleaning to clear all this up yet it is still NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU.

This is my last post on here because thrankly Graham, your are now being that UNGRATEFUL TOSSER you dislike. I had come here to clear this up as it was a misunderstanding but I guess you'd rather just call people names across a computer screen instead of accepting someone going well out the way to say thank you and try and put things right.

2p.....

Adam - relax / calm down.... :spitfire

We are all tossers on this site!! Check next to everybody's name/avatar - it say's tosser ! :tosser :D
Except bobalob, now.... he's a master-debater !! :bow

It would be nice to hear from the young lady (Stacey :nenau)
Re. applology accepted & let us know if the stains/marks have come out after cleaning. :angel
