pictures from RD5 run out

I do feel this is becoming a slanging match and it is not needed as I will try to explain exactly what happened that day.

I was riding my 800gs as "tail end charlie" making sure no one got lost and collecting drop off markers, stragglers ect when a pannier dropped off said bike right in the path of Graham's 1150 which he only just missed as did Simon/Stacey on the 650 Dakar they both stopped and I did, as the rider who lost the pannier did not realize straight away he was missing something and carried on out of sight Stacey said she would carry it (not knowing the inner side was dirty and so soiling her new jacket) when the rider returned I helped him turn his bike around on very steep single track road and I took the offending item from Stacey and helped the rider secure it using my bungee strap and we then caught up with the main group and it was better secured by other folk. The rider who lost the pannier (Adam I believe) said it was a loan bike he had borrowed for the run and that was about all that was said.

At no time during the day did I hear the word "Sorry" mentioned or the word "Thankyou" for that matter. I did tell Graham that I would post on here about the soiled jacket and lack of thanks but had computer problems when I got home and only got it working again later when the posting had started.

I find that brake cleaner gets most stains out, but maybe use halfords carpet cleaner first, both work every time hope you get it sorted
