Out of curiosity - do you use it in icy conditions?
Panigale ? braver man than me if he does
Only reason for asking is that lithium have a poor reputation for cold starting - below freezing.

I started it in the winter . I reckon the temp was about 1 degree . It struggled initially but then seems to spring into life on the second attempt
That’s because discharging (and charging) the battery warms it up. Bigger the current, more the heating effect. Lithium batteries are happy between a few degrees above zero and a bit less than 50C
