I was reading just this very morning that the Elephant range were actually made by Ducati but rebranded Cagiva because whatziznem Massimo Tamburine didn't want to be associated with "Dirt bikes". Not a Ducati thing he said! Now look at them, Hyper motard anyone?

Unfortunately the Hypermotard is far from being a capable dirt bike.

There has, however, been an interesting private development of the 695 Monster.
