Popped in to see a good friend of mine this afternoon, safe to say he’s a bit eccentric, he’s the best salesman I’ve ever known but he hates selling, hates social media and generally dealing with idiots.
Over a coffee he started telling me he needs to sell a few cars so he can rearrange his workshop to be able to work on one of his steam engines, I’ve offered to help, hence this and maybe a few more adverts.
Kit purchased in 2001, built in 2005, registered 2007.
Currently has less than 6000 miles and has been sorned since 2019 although it has been driven on his land.
Number plate is NSF 371 but will revert to G757 GWP unless negotiated with the sale.
It’s running a 5.7ltr Chevy V8, sounds amazing.
Has a vinyl roof just in case you get caught out in the rain.
There is a slight leak from a bottom radiator hose.
Price will include a new MOT.
I would say it is mint but a tad dusty at the moment.
The car is located just off junction 3 of the M27.
All contact through me to start with please.
I have a walk around video that I don’t appear to be able to attach that I can WhatsApp on request.

£27,500 ono

The prices for these can be a bit all over the place, but, I've just seen a 2002 Pilgrim Sumo with a 2.8L V6 for £23,500 with 20,000 miles on the clock, so this much more desireable V8 at 6,000 miles looks like a better buy to me.

I was saving for Cobra kitcar when I decided I'd never get there and bought the Ginetta G20 instead but good luck with the sale.

Sale fell through because we took too long getting an MOT.
On the way to the MOT it developed a carburetor fault which has been replaced by a new one, starts and runs as it should now.
Failed the MOT on a steering rack gaiter, took ages to identify the donor car and source a new one which is now complete.
Full MOT
But the price is now £30k ono, the number plate is £2k extra or will be retained as soon as a deal is agreed.
It’s on the Pilgrim Facebook group as well.
Once this has gone he’ll get the Aston out, cleaned up & checked over fully.

Still wishing you good luck with the sale, but, was the steering rack from a Ford Sierra or Granada? Those were usually the donors for running gear on the early kitcar cobras? My Ginetta used custom uprights but a Sierra rack and gearbox and rear differential..

Some of the other Cobra's had Jaguars a start point though.
