Round 'n' round in circles.........
I have seen these advertised somewhere, but for the life of me I cannot remember where?

They are made of the same material that you buy in sheets to put under your tank bag to stop it from slipping, also Halfords sell it as toolbox liners to stop yer spanners moving around. You know the stuff, black rubber sheeting with square holes punched in it?

My missus has this 'orrible habit of sliding down the seat every time we come to a halt, my thoughts are that this would put a stop to her little game!

I suspect that they are custom made to suit the bike and simply tie on the underside, it covers the whole of the seat and looks a half decent job.

I have asked my local dealer and yes he has seen them to, but cannot remember where..............

Any ideas?

You're not imagining things. I've got one for the back seat and it is specific for that seat (1150 GS) but may fit others. It's elasticated at the back and ties on at the front. Seems to help with sliding around during acceleration and braking.

Can't remember what it's called, but I do remember getting it at the NEC show last year.

I've got a big sheet of this stuff if you want some.....never sen it as a seat cover though......can bring a bit to Princetown if you like...maybe you could try a foot square with some straps or velcro or something to hold it on the bike??

(actually I think I've got two..one was a boot liner to stop stufff sliding around the back of a car and the other sheet is was for stopping rugs slliding around on laminate flooring)

As an aside, I saw a chap at the Kent Custom Bike Show years and years ago with one leg, amputated really high up.

He had black velcro stuck to his saddle on his trike and the back of his leathers....he literally had to peel himself off the thing....dead cool:cool: :D

They sell the stuff in rolls at B&Q. Just cut a suitable size strip and wrap it around the pillion seat before re-installing - not exactly a custom fit but it does the job.
