OK, so I've got a series of long trips this summer (culminating in a 3 week trip) with a relatively inexperienced pillion. I'd like to make this as comfortable as possible for obvious reasons (earache mainly!!).

I've sorted out a pillion backrest for the ADV panniers, kitted out a intercom system with audio feed, spec'ed an Airhawk for the pillion seat but I want to look into possibly moving the pillion pegs for more comfort.

Anyone any experiences to share/suggest with respect to a suitable lowering kit for the pillion pegs of a R1200GSA w. luggage (I realise thats unlikely, but its the same as the GS ...), good, bad, cheap, expensive, let it rip ...

So far, found only Touratech 041-0621 kit to move the pegs and 044-0860 bigger studded pegs or Wunderlich Ergo lowering kit, which I think will fit the pillion pegs (SPC should know)

Cheers in advance

My 1100 had some s/steel fittings to lower the rear pegs, dont know if they will fit the 1200 but i could have a look if i can find them :thumb

Saw the NN set before, but was unclear whether it will fit the 1200GS/GSA pillion pegs (as they are listed for the 1150GS and Norm is normally pretty caerful) ... anyone know if they are the same mounts?

Guess I'll be ringing Norm tomorrow to find out ...

Had a look & they will fit the 1200 :thumb looks like they move the rear pegs forward & down a bit ,but they are different to normans (not as low i think) mine are the tt ones even lists as 1100/1150/1200

ktmmark, if they are the tt ones, drop me a PM with an idea of price and we'll sort something out ... rather line someone elses pockets than the dealers ;-)
