I have just purchased a 1150 gs SE Adventure and I love it. The only problem is that my wife and I are planning a trip to the Pyrannees next year. After she tested out the pillion seat she found it to be much shorter than the 1200 adv which we had road tested, and she liked! Doh!
I have seen the extension rear pad that Nippy Norman sells, anyone got one, does it work??
Or would I be better going down the Sargeant/Corbin route?
Or would this make no difference to the overall length of the seat?
Me? I am as happy as a sand boy on the front! :bounce1

Got it slightly wrong! Its Touratech that sells them not Nippy Normans.

Seat extension BMW R 1150 GS Adventure £ 73,55

"The Adventure seat is simply not long enough for your pillion passenger. We have developed an easy to fit seat extension which solves this problem. Now even long- distance journeys won´t be a horrifyig experience for your pillion passenger.
It can be fitted quickly and includes a new grab handle.
This seat extension is a must if you want your pillion passenger to enjoy a comfortable ride."

Have you the BM tin top box? If you have I fitted one of the TT seat extensions after it had been modified a little. If uou'd like to see a picture let me know :thumb BTW if you've also got the BM tin panniers then turning the front lashing points inside out helps you getting on and off and stops SWMBO complaining about them digging into her thighs :clap
