has anyone replaced the pillion seat with a plate with a givi top box adapter fitted? I tried a cymarc item but it wouldn't fit because of the way the givi top box kit fits. Shame as cymrc stuff is top draw. to suit gsa btw

I've done something similar using the BMW luggage plate. Both my Vario Top Box or my smaller 30L one now fit directly onto it.
I think you could do this with the BMW luggage plate: https://www.bahnstormer.co.uk/product/gsgsa-lc-luggage-rack/ fitted with this Givi adaptor: https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/206832
The result would give you something like this except with your Givi box rather than my BMW one.
