My arms always ached and felt stressed with wifey on back of 2004 GS.
We rode to Lorne yesterday which is 35 minutes of Great Ocean Road and back on LC and I felt 100% and she didn't punch me. Mid winter here so only been 550km's so far. All good.

Wifey loved the RT, hated the TC but now loves the LC. She says it's obviously not as good as the RT but it's much more comfortable than the TC. Apparently I'm not so jerky on the throttle. Only use road and rain though when she is aboard.

My good lady Joanne likes the WC,However, she did complain of severe buffeting at constant speeds of over 75mph.
This was also a complaint on the TC but an ADV screen and winglets sorted it out.
So,maybe we'll have to have a look at what sort of protection the new ADV is going to offer and wether it fits the standard gs.

Good job we rarely venture onto motorways.

I think a lot to do with this is the relative heights between the two of you. She is a short arse so I block out most of the wind. For me on the front the new screen, in the fully up position is much better than my old TC. Never tried the adv screen though.

The LC does handle beautifully two up, much better than my TC.

I just wind the rear pre-load and rebound damping knobs to max and it makes for lovely stress free two up riding.
