Studio Plus is £70 in Dixons, Studio SE is under £10 on eBay.

Does anyone know the difference?

The SE seems that it might be of US origin. Given that it's all digital, are there any issues around PAL/NTSC?

Greg,

Thinking along the same lines but what does it actually do? I have an idea but there are lots of similar stuff about.

I am after some software that will organize and just tidy up all my video clips i have and just make them presentable and fine tweak them .
Would this software do or is there something else that will suit my needs.
Thanks

Right, I've downloaded the Pinnacle software from some well-dodgy site using Bittorents.

Does anyone know what is being 'uploaded' whilst I am 'downloading'?

Greg

the bits of the file you've already downloaded are uploading to other people in the "swarm".

ps. you only got the torrent from the "well dodgy site". the file you wanted came from the pc's of "well dodgy" downloaders like yourself :D

And what do they do with them?

Does it matter that when my PC says 'download complete', but I'm still uploading, I then pull the plug?

The etiquette is that once you've finished downloading you leave your computer running so that at least one other downloader can finish uploading from you.

If you 'hit & run' too often you can get banned from the site.

same as you, reassemble them into the required file.

ps. you should upload at least as much as you download :)

I'm going to say this one day ! :P :P :P :P

To the best of my knowledge, make sure you download the PAL version of the dodgy software NTSC is the US TV format and will not be able to resolve PAL (UK) format DV.

AVID DV Xpress can edit a project in either format but I doubt you'll find a stable cracked version to download...
