Hi everyone,

Much has been said on here about tyres and I believe much more will continue to be discussed on this issue.
Tyres are kinda subjective to each rider and the way they ride their bike and the type of surfaces they mostly ride. Each one of us will experiment with different types of tyres and together with others experiences and opinions will dictate what we’re going for.

This is the reason I’m writing this at this point. I’m not connected to any tyre dealer nor do I receive any cash or reward to express my opinion.

I’m just expressing my views to this tyre so that this may help others when looking for a change on their tyre preferences.

After a lot of deliberation I took the “plunge” and gave the STRs a go and what an amazing tyre this is!
Great in town, in motorway and at legal speed limit I get a slight noise but easily ignored (I’m wearing ear plugs). But this Sunday in the Lake District roads I had constant smile from ear to ear.
This tyre grips the road in the dry and in the wet, it’s great off the beaten track but can’t give you proper off road comment as I’m not a 100% enduro hard core but for my needs it’s amazing.
If you’re looking for a tyre that behaves well on dirt tracks but doesn’t compromise your ride on the roads well this could be your answer.
Mileage??? Don’t know! Too early to say anything.

May I had to the above that no sudden "drop" with knobblies has been observed. You know what I mean...that moment when you lean the bike and it seems to drop down a bit more than you intended. I haven't experimented any of that.

I know where your coming from I am on my second set now, and without doubt the best tyres I have had on the GS

And can also add there very good on the gentle trails :thumb as good as TKC 80s That lasted me no time at all and did not like the damp see here

Riding around the Alps on a recent trip to the Stella can honestly say none of the sports bikes was getting away from me in the bends as well :beerjug:

I rode back from the French Alps through rural france mostly in the rain and my mate on his GSA shod with Tourance next commented that he had his little yellow light flickering all the way mine come on once

Mileage was very good about 4000 miles from a rear. I am nearly ready for more tyres and as you can guess its the same again :thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb

Cambrian supplies them but only for trade and not the joe public. I got mine through tyre leader £95 front and £86 to 129 for the rear

Hi, great pictures! Any chance of sharing that route? PM me if you want to keep it private.

Thanks
